The Primo Ceramic Grills Advantage | Oval Beats Round Every Time!

In Italian, the word 'Primo' means the best. Primo chose this name because they truly feel that they offer the 'best of the best' when it comes to their ceramic grill. Primo Grills offers a variety of advantages over their competition, some are patented features and some are just simple adjustments that make a big difference! We're going to take a look at why Primo has the advantage over other ceramic grills and why it's truly the 'the best of the best' in the ceramic grill category.

Three Grill Types

The Patented Oval Design - The One. The Only. True Oval.

If you've ever shopped for a ceramic grill, you'll quickly realize something about almost every ceramic grill on the market. They're all ROUND! Take one look at Primo and you'll instantly ask yourself, "why is it an oval?" The Patented Oval design of the Primo Grill delivers the highest level of cooking versatility and performance. It creates two distinct cooking zones so that you can cook directly over the charcoal on one half of the grill and cook indirectly with the use of a deflector. This two-zone cooking method gives you far more control over the doneness food. An added benefit of the Primo Oval Design is that it holds more food than round grills. Most food is not round and you can cookout to the edge of the Primo Oval without losing valuable cooking space.

The heat source of a Primo Ceramic Grill is 100% natural lump charcoal. Their own line of natural lump charcoal is made from American hardwoods to give food an organic natural wood fire flavor, just like cooking over a campfire. This type of charcoal burns cleaner, hotter, and longer than gas or briquette charcoal. It can also be relit for multiple cookings.

Proudly Made in the USA | American as Apple Pie

Primo Ceramic Grills are the only ceramic grill that is made in America. Primo uses domestic raw materials, and the firing and assembly all take place at their headquarters in Tucker, Georgia. They are extremely proud of the American ingenuity and quality craftsmanship in each of their ceramic grills. Surprisingly, virtually all major ceramic grill companies source their grills from foreign companies. This limited them to very little or no quality control of the manufacturing process at all. Primo Grills hand inspects every one of their grills before it is packaged up and shipped off.

As American As Apple Pie

Best-In-Class Lifetime Warranty and Backed by a 20-Year Guarantee

Primo Ceramic Grills is also the only ceramic grill company to offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty backed by a 20- Year Guarantee. Surprisingly, a "lifetime warranty" is defined by each state, not the company offering it. Some states determine that a lifetime warranty can be as little as a few years. Our limited lifetime warranty with a 20-year guarantee assures you that your new grill is covered for many years of use and enjoyment. There's not a single ceramic grill manufacturer that can even come close to offering this.

Multiple Cooking Methods

Typical gas grills and charcoal grills limit what you're able to cook on your outdoor barbecue. Truthfully, what's the point of buying a grill if it can't do everything you need it to do? With the Primo Oval Ceramic Grills, they can simply cook anything that is in your cookbook. Grill mouthwatering steaks, bake authentic wood-fired pizza, roast a turkey, or smoke a beef brisket to tender perfection. Any food and recipe can be cooked on a Primo. The possibilities are endless. A Primo Grill allows you to grill, bake, roast, smoke, sear, braise, sauté, barbecue, caramelize, flambé, broil, fricassee, pan-fry, baste, parboil, boil, poach, scallop, simmer, stew, stir-fry, and more. Name another grill that can do all that?

Baking Roasting and Smoking

Grilling & Searing

Your typical everyday type method. This type of cooking method is similar to that used on a typical charcoal grill. It produces high-heat on the cooking surface and is perfect for cooking meats such as ribeyes, chicken, vegetables, corn or any other foods that benefit from being cooked directly over an open charcoal flame. To properly accomplish this cooking method, it is recommended that both the daisy wheel and draft door be open 100% to 75% of the way to optimize the amount of air-flow the fuel is getting.

Grill and Searing

Grilling & Roasting

Perfect for cooking delicate foods that can't handle an open/direct flame. The Grilling & Roasting method is essentially the 'low and slow' cooking method, allowing you to produce low and direct heat that will roast, rather than direct grilling. It allows you to cook items such as tender foods, seafood, and vegetables without the risks of charring and burning. For this method, a firebox divider is recommended to produce the best results. Leaving the daisy wheel and draft door in the 75% to 50% position is idle for this cooking method.

Grilling and Roasting

Baking, Roasting, & Smoking

The birth of the 'low and slow' method! When it comes to truly get the most out of your Primo Ceramic Grill, the Baking, Roasting & Smoking method will truly transform your cooking abilities. Used by some of the world's best-renowned Chefs, allowing your grill to perfectly roast an item will retain it's juicy interior while allowing a thick 'bark' on the exterior of the meat. Perfect for ribs, brisket, pork shoulder and much more! Leaving the daisy wheel and draft door in the 40% to 25% position is idle for this cooking method.
