Product Overview
- Collapsable legs allow to convert your flat top griddle from a freestanding unit to a tabletop unit, within seconds. The FTG600P is perfect for tailgating, camping, backyard patio hangouts, or a trip to the park for that perfect picnic.
- The Camp Chef FTG600P features a 604 square inch, pre-seasoned, cold-rolled steel cooking surface with a splash guard to keep food on the griddle, and is evenly heated by four 12,000 BTU stainless steel burners. The stainless burners of the Camp Chef FTG600P sit in a powder-coated steel burner box and are independently controlled by four knobs on the front of the grill.
- The easy to use twist-and-turn ignition system is powered by simply turning the knob and features a safety valve and thermocouple to automatically cut off the gas supply in the event of accidental flame extinction, while ventilation cutouts allow proper airflow to prevent gas buildup and overheating.
- Two large, powder-coated steel folding side shelves provide extra prep space.
- Micro-adjust griddle levelers and adjustable leg levelers ensure that you always have an even surface to cook on. A hose, regulator, and holding bracket are included for a 20-pound propane tank (tank not included).

I have a lot of Camp Chef equipment from Pellet Grills to Camp Stoves and Dutch Ovens. I enjoy using all of them. However, this for me is the best product they have ever made. It is easy to use, easy to maintain, looks amazing, and cooks fantastic food. I am so happy I held off buying a flat top until this portable one came out. It is going to be my new Camp Stove. Just waiting on the line of set top accessories (pizza oven, grill etc) to come out so I can sell off my Pro series stove.

I purchased this portable grill about a month ago and it's performed great! Please note that the pieces are pretty heavy, but the equipment appears to be quite durable and functional. I purchased the portable model because I have limited space on my deck (already have a Weber grill) and wanted to be able to take it with me to barbecues and campouts. I store it on shelves in my garage and have used it on my deck and back yard. I also store the griddle pan in a bag to help prevent rusting. It's been an awesome addition!

"I bought the FTG600P two weeks ago to take to my ranch; my wife is very peculiar about smell lingering inside the house so I installed it in our covered porch. Being new to griddle cooking, I did not do well at mu first try, Camp Chef claims that the griddle is pre-seasoned, so I didn't oil anything; I burned a few things. Being one to not give up so easily, I seasoned the griddle the next day and cooked amazing antelope burgers for dinner, breakfast the next morning and followed up with yet another amazing dinner. I can not be happier with my griddle and only wished there were more accessories for it. Such as cooking utensil racks that could attach to the griddle, etc. but that does not take away from the amazing meals I cooked on it. I can't wait to go back next month and experiment with more recipes while enjoying the great views from our covered porch. Great job Camp Chef, as a result of the satisfaction from owning your product, I'm now trying to figure out how I can sneak a 3 burner stove on to the ranch without my wife noticing. LOL. "

The cooking surface is a great space to have, but i'm more pleased with the portability of being able to take it most anywhere. We've taken it to cook outs, parks, etc. Looks like they just launched a couple carry bags to make it easier too.

We use this grill camping. The grill easily folds up and stores nicely in our fifth wheel using the Camp Chef carry bag. Everything I cook on this grill comes out amazing whether it's burgers, streaks, eggs, bacon, pancakes, and stir fry's to list a few. The cooking temperature surface is very consistent which is one of the reasons I upgraded from another popular brand. I won't say what brand but you all know who I'm talking about. We all know how the supply chain is these days since this epidemic started and I wasn't surprised this grill wasn't available when I first started looking at it. I did fill out the notify me when in stock on the Camp Chef website and it didn't take long for me to get an email that the grill is available. Trust me when I say the wait is worth it. We couldn't be more pleased with this grill. Yes the griddle itself is heavy but that's expected when you get a high end grill. Buy this grill and you won't be disappointed.

I bought this grill for its functionality and portability. Everything about its design is great and I love the way it cooks. From large family breakfasts to stir fry and fried rice, it does a great job. It packs up easily and doesn't take up much room. The griddle comes preseasoned and is ready for use right out of the box.

We are enjoying this flattop. The grill has very consistent heat over the entire cooktop. Great for breakfasts and lunch/dinners. We wanted the versatility of a portable/packable grill, and this model is perfect. We added the carrying bags to protect and store the grill, and they do just that.

This thing is bad @$$. It even has adjustable screws under the griddle that help you drain grease better. I wouldn't change anything about it. I added a magnet to the wings so the tongs and spatulas wouldn't take up space. When the snow hit us in South Texas I ended up feeding a bunch of people with the 4 burner and it kept the house warm too!

I bought this because I wanted to have a large griddle for my back porch so I could stop stinking up the . I had no idea what I was in for. This thing is solid. I can't wait to get out of lockdown so I can cook for the neighborhood, it can handle the task.

I cooked fresh fajitas with homemade flour tortillas the other night for the family and everyone LOVED them. Plus, the cleanup was the easiest part of the night.

I bought this griddle a month ago and it was delivered promptly. I had to assemble. There were 2 screws missing but it was no big deal because I had some extras laying around. I like the griddle and it has been great to cook on. My only issue is that it will warp if the temperature gets too high. One of the corners will pick up several inches. I bought this griddle because it is portable and I want to take it camping but we haven't been yet, so I'm not sure how well it will travel.
I would recommend this griddle.

Bought my FTG just a week or so ago and had delicious blueberry pancakes and bacon Christmas morning, then topped topped that off today with chicken and beef fajitas that were amazing. Cooking part is more fun than the eating. Not as portable as they make it sound though. Maybe not too bad for a young "buck", but a pretty good chore for this 77 year old man! That is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
