Operating at 90 percent heating efficiency, this infrared patio heater runs on regular household electric current and consumes approximately 1/10 the energy costs of propane gas patio heaters. The Fire Sense electric heater (02117) can be used indoors and outdoors and has wheels for easy mobility. This electric infrared patio heater features a telescopic adjustable pole, silent operation, tip-over protection and approximately 5000 hours of bulb life. Heater reaches 100 percent heat production in seconds producing a 9-foot heating area that is not affected by wind. No UV rays, harmful emissions, or toxic residuals are produced or used. Patio heater uses standard 110v household current and includes aluminum shield and PVC cover. ETL approved.
