The Saber Grills R67SC0017 Stainless 670 40-inch propane gas grill features a stainless steel lid. Four 8,000 BTU gas burners, provide evenly-distributed heat across a 670 square-inch cooking surface. I am an avid outside bbq cook. Purchased this bbq in 2014. Prev owned a 6 burner, this 4 burner out did my prev bbq. This bbq lived outdoors under SABER cover, through snowstorms and summer heat, cooked on average 4 nights a week, as you can see on pictures it was a workhorse, inside looked used, though outer shell still looked great and stainless held up. PROS - Love the grille grates...no flareups and gives a great meat sear when preheated. - - Great SABER forked tool for cleaning the grates etc - Large cooking area. - Legs lamb, Pork belly, ribs, steaks, chicken - Would cook hi heat on RH side and use LH side for my addon griddle plate, potatoes, onions, eggs CONS - The side wok burner is ok for standard saucpan...pan work but struggled with hi temp wok cooking. - After a few years bbq insert and burner supports (non stainless rusted out) I sold this to a friend after 7 years of flaweless cooking.

Purchased April 2019 and use 2-3 times a week since. Takes time to get used to how to control the temperature but with practice, I have cooked a 20lb turkey perfectly at 325F. Steaks, pork tenderloin, chicken and burgers have awesome flavor. Brats that I used to have major flare up are no issue with this grill.

I bought my Saber 4-burner built-in grill back in 2016, and I use it ALL THE TIME for cooking all kinds of meat, even bacon and breakfast sausage! I love the way it cooks, especially steaks, chicken, pork chops, and yes, even bacon, without burning everything to a flaming crisp. When I cook bacon on it, I am surprised my neighbors have not called the fire department, because it puts off an incredible amount of smoke, but there is no fire, just good flavorful smoke. I just heat it up to medium heat, lay the bacon strips on it, and they cook beautifully, grill marks and all. I use long tongs and flip the bacon halfway through cooking. It is absolutely delicious! I don't know of any other grill that you can cook bacon on it without creating a huge grease fire. Same with breakfast sausage patties and links. Steaks are my all-time favorite to cook on this grill. My steaks are cooked to perfection, and they are better than anything I can get at any restaurant in town, even the high-end restaurant in town. It is so easy to cook the steaks, the grill produces beautiful grill marks, and the inside of the steak is super juicy. This infrared heat system is not a gimmick. Now, I did have some issues with the grill over the past 4-years. My lights went out, but it was the transformer, not the bulbs, the igniter stopped working, and the gauges on the front stopped working. Sounds like a lemon, right? Well, thankfully, Saber's customer service is excellent, and they replaced all these parts. Now I am on year 4 and the firebox has rusted through in a few spots. I was really disappointed, but I called Saber, and they are sending me a completely new fire box. I am also building a roof over the area where the grill sits, so this one will hopefully last longer. Again, the customer service makes all the difference in the world. It would be really easy to write off this grill after these issues, but I LOVE THE WAY IT COOKS, and I am so thankful for the service this company provides, and that makes all the difference in the world. Had the Elite series been available back when I bought mine, I would have gotten it instead, because it has the stainless firebox. But the good news is that they have a lifetime warranty on the firebox, so that's a good thing. So, overall, I give this grill 4-stars, only because it has not been perfect, but I give Saber's customer service team 5-stars+, because they have been professional, courteous, and super helpful.
