Bought my Q1400 and had what I thought was an issue. Weber service was very polite and helpful and through a series of back and forths showed me the issue was with me, the user! They provided thorough and timely assistance and stuck with me over the long haul until I was satisfied?that is the definition of customer service. And of course, it was all my fault to begin with. We moved to a new house with a small deck right outside the kitchen. We've had gas and charcoal grills before and I wanted something that didn't involve coals or propane. I am SO glad I chose this grill. I've never been the griller before in the family, but this grill so easy to use and everything I've cooked has come out perfect. I absolutely love it. We are three pretty big eaters in our house and the grill size works for us. We don't eat red meat so I haven't tried a steak, but I've done turkey burgers, chicken thighs, all kinds of veg, naan bread, pineapple, fish, portobello mushrooms. Everything comes out great. Cleanup is easy. We're still using the same drip pan liner that came with the grill - just wipe it out and re-use - but replacements are easy to find and inexpensive. I ordered the grill cover at the same time and it was transported by literal snails, I think, whereas I received and was using the grill within three days of ordering it, so I had to bring the grill in every night if there were any chance of rain. I should have ordered the cover from the establishment that offers Prime shipping. But 10/10 recommend this little grill.

I love this grill! It takes a little getting used to, but cooks as well as my Weber propane, and is super easy to clean! I was concerned it may cause my electric bill to go up, but after a couple of months of regular use, I haven't noticed any increase.

Had a problem with the first electric control but it was immediately replaced. Grill gets very hot and puts a good sear on steaks which is perfect is you like your meat rare.

I was impressed by the Weber Q 1400 Electric Grill.
We moved from out home to an apartment where gas fired grills are not permitted.
For over 40 years I have had a Weber Grill most recent was the Genesis Gas 4 burner.
The flavor of the food/meats on the Q 1400 was Outstanding.
I would recommend the Q 1400 Electric Grill to apartment dwellers.

Shocked that an electric grill is this good. If you're tired of propane or live in an area that restricts grilling, this is a fine addition! Grilling outside is still recommended to avoid the smoke issue.

We originally purchased this grill for use on our high-rise apartment balcony, but now continue to use it out our new home. It has been used at least three times a week for the past 18 months and we are very pleased with our Weber Q1400. We cook steaks, chicken and even salmon on cedar planks. The grill generates sufficient heat for typically two and even up to four portions of meat. Recently, after all of this use the grill failed. A call to the Weber warranty team had the problem quickly diagnosed and a replacement part on the way! We're impressed with Weber products and service!!!
